'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner', Samuel Taylor Coleridge's most famous poem, was first read here at Alfoxton Park 225 years ago.
Join us for this epic tale of adventure, fantasy, madness, fall and redemption. Witness the Ancient Mariner and his story brought to life in Singhamanas' powerful rendition, here at the birthplace of Romantic poetry.
The programme of events will include:
A talk introducing the poem from Dhivan.
Live music inspired by the Romantic era.
The live performance of The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Singhamanas.
Hot drinks provided.
Bring a picnic blanket/camping chair.
He holds him with his skinny hand,

Arrival at 3pm for a 3:20pm start. The evening will conclude by 5:30pm
